They are a rapidly growing corporation and pride themselves on cutting edge products with top-notch and personalized client support. ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:

Our client is currently seeking a junior software developer to join their growing development and customer support team. The chosen candidate will be responsible for new feature development, product testing, and client support in a collaborative environment. Work with Mobile, Responsive Web Design, License Plate Recognition, RDBMS, high performance scalable web sites and other exciting technologies What you will do:

Reproduce Complex Application Errors Debug Code Implement Bug Fixes Develop Custom Reports/Queries for Clients Work closely with clients and support staff to troubleshoot issues and provide solutions Implement new product features Support and work closely with senior developers Opportunities to work with native Android, iOS apps, as well as web applications What you will bring to the job: A Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related degree Zero – Two years of experience in software development and testing A code sample that shows the quality and type of work representative of your capabilities. Ability to successfully complete an in-house code test. Development experience with any or all of the following (a plus): C#, PHP, Smarty Template Engine, Javascript (JQuery), CSS/SCSS, Bootstrap, HTML5, Node.js, Gulp Relational Database Knowledge (a plus), including Oracle, MSSQL and MongoDB Willingness to adapt and evolve to technology changes Ability to work independently and within a team Salary and Benefits: $65,000 - $85,000 base salary, depending upon qualifications and code test results 100% Employer Paid BlueCross Platinum Health Insurance with no employee contribution required Preventative dental Annual Employee Pension Plan, fully funded by EDC Corporation with no employee contribution required Free parking
