The Software Developer's primary responsibility is for the development of IXRS and/or EDC systems and for ensuring that all assigned system deliverables are developed, tested and documented in accordance with company Standard Operating Procedures and departmental Work Instructions. Responsibilities include:
Developing components (including but not limited to modules, ADO, IIR, Alerts, CDL, for simple to moderately complex IXRS and / or EDC systems utilizing technologies. Performing a thorough review of the User Requirements Specification (URS) prior to attending URS Review meeting and participate in review of URS with project team. Ensuring delivery of all project deliverables in accordance with project schedule.
Providing technical support for study systems that are in production. Performing adequate unit testing for all system components. Leading review of Functional Requirements Specification (FRS). Ensuring communication of project status to project team members and TSL / GL.
Ensuring that initial development and ongoing maintenance are performed according to SOP's and / or departmental WIsProvide mentoring to Developers and new staff. Assisting others on the project team by sharing company / industry knowledge. Facilitating the implementation of process and / or technology improvements and developing supporting SOPs / work by identifying and offering solutions for problems and assisting in implementation as requested.
Suggesting and developing improvements and solutions to existing problems. Participating in client audits for items pertaining to systems developed.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field, or comparable work experience
Experience developing applications in C# with backend databases such as SQL Server
Knowledge of T-SQL / experience writing stored procedures
Experience with LINQ and Entity Framework
