Software Developer

Summary

The Software Developer will be at the forefront of designing, developing, and maintaining software applications that play a critical role in our operations, allowing us to continue delivering outstanding products to our customers.

What You'll Do

• Software Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders to design, develop, and maintain software applications that meet the company's requirements. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code to create software solutions that drive efficiency and productivity.

• System Integration: Work closely with the IT team to integrate software applications with existing systems, ensuring seamless data exchange and compatibility. Implement API connections and data flows.

• Testing and Quality Assurance: Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to ensure the reliability and performance of software applications. Identify and resolve issues, bugs, and discrepancies in a timely manner.

• Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation of software architecture, code, and configurations. This documentation will serve as a valuable reference for colleagues and future developers.

• User Training and Support: Collaborate with the broader IT team to provide training and support to end-users to ensure they can effectively utilize the software applications. Address user issues and questions in a timely and professional manner.

• Security and Compliance: Maintain a strong focus on data security and compliance. Ensure that software applications adhere to relevant industry and company-specific regulations and standards.

• Technical Troubleshooting: Investigate and resolve technical issues related to software applications promptly. Offer technical expertise and support to end-users and colleagues.

• Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor and analyze software performance. Identify opportunities for optimization, scalability, and improvements in software functionality.

• Collaboration: Work with business stakeholders to gather and refine software requirements. Collaborate on software development projects and contribute to the company's technology strategy.

Who You Are

Must Haves:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• Proven experience as a Software Developer or related role.

• Proficiency in software development using programming languages such as Java, Python, C++, .NET or others.

• Strong knowledge of software design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.

• Experience with database management, API integration, EDI, and web application development.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice-to-Haves:

• Knowledge of ERP and CRM systems is a plus.
