Peraton has an exciting opportunity for a skilled software developer to help with the development of our current projects. You will oversee the entire software life-cycle, including designing individual parts, performing maintenance, and deploying upgrades. The Software Development, Senior Associate will be responsible for the following but not limited to: • Build software by writing code, as well as modifying software to fix errors, adapt it to new hardware, improve its performance, or upgrade interface • Direct system testing, validation procedures, and work with customers or departments on technical issues including software system design and maintenance • Work with other developers, IT professionals and product managers throughout the software development life cycle • Extensive knowledge of programming languages and the software development life cycles including but not limited to Agile Framework • Work independently throughout the development process of a particular project • Observe user feedback to recommend improvements to existing software products • Develop technical documentation QUALIFICATIONS • Active TS/SCI Clearance with ability to obtain a poly • 2 years of experience with a Bachelors Degree in developing and implementing software applications, or 6 years of experience in lieu of degree Desired Qualifications: • Security certification • Experience with software design and development in a test-driven environment • Knowledge of coding languages (e.g.

C++, Java, JavaScript) and frameworks/systems (e.g. AngularJS, Git) • Experience with databases • Ability to learn new languages and technologies • Excellent communication skills • Problem-solving and critical thinking skills
