Required Responsibilities

Work under direction,supervision and guidance to develop, debug, and enhance new development or legacy system integration software. Build the skills to work with both back-end and front-end technologies as a full-stack developer.Write documentation of program developments and revisions. Conduct trial runs and unit testing, suggest resolutions and resolve problems in computer programs. Collaborate with teams on various topics and discussions to solve problems, design and test application modifications and increase operating efficiency. Manage work load and adhere to schedules.

Required Skills & Experience

Intermediate use and understanding of:

  • JAVA

  • Analytical and Critical thinking

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and proficiency in written and spoken English

  • Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Must be dependable and able to adhere to a work

schedule

Preferred Skills & Experience

Basic use and understanding of:

  • Web markup, including HTML5, CSS3

  • Client-side scripting

  • JavaScript frameworks, such as jQuery, Underscore and Angular

  • UI frameworks, such as Bootstrap, jQueryUI

  • Asynchronous request handling, partial page updates and AJAX

  • JSON and XML

  • Familiarity with cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them

  • GIT or other source control software

  • SQL

  • Insurance knowledge is helpful but not required

  • Artistic, creative thinking and open mindedness to new ideas and approaches is helpful

Education

Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Technology majors with minimum of 2 years course work at an accredited educational institution.
