Designs and develops software solutions and business process solutions based on business needs and requirements using specialized domain knowledge and developed business expertise. Works with the development team and business analysts to implement new features, enhancements, and fixes for a large and complex portfolio management system. Works collaboratively with development during all stages of projects to provide in process testing results.

Designs and develops advanced reporting capabilities in the SPT applications while also addressing complicated scalability requirements. Provides detailed root cause analysis using debugging and troubleshooting skills. Builds applications for financial advisors.

Works with the architects to design and implement the solution. Mentors other junior members on the team. Position allows for partial remote work (2-3 times in the office). Must live within reasonable commuting distance.

Reports to company office in Raleigh, NC. Starting compensation for this location depends on related experience. Annual bonus opportunity and other eligible earnings are not included in the range(s) above.

We offer a competitive benefits package, see below for details. Salary: $129,989 - $146,200 What you have Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field, plus 3 years of related experience. Experience must include some experience in each of the following skills:

Testing and Automating Web services (SOAP and REST) and validating business logic tier within nuget packages that communicate using C# with SQL and No-SQL databases (MongoDB and Aerospike); Database principles, writing queries, reading and writing data to databases, data analysis and performing complex mathematical calculations related to client portfolio performance data; Ability to write code using C#, understand and explain memory management concepts in C# and the ability to design and develop code using object-oriented principles (inheritance, interfaces, encapsulation and SOLID); Design and development of automation scripts using C# and .Net and testing of REST services using Parasoft SOA or Rest Sharp; Testing, including functional, regression, load/performance, and end-to-end system testing; Quality Assurance functions including vetting requirements, creating Test Plans and test cases, creating automation scripts and reviewing regression results; Implementing new features and enhancements and providing detailed root cause analysis using debugging and troubleshooting skills, fixing bugs on large and complex portfolio management systems.
