We are currently looking for a Software Developer with a specific focus of developing support applications and extending the use of our Enterprise Software system primarily using Microsoft SQL and C#.NET. The ideal candidate will have a keen sense of urgency to accomplish company goals and implement new technologies within the organization.

The Software Developer will demonstrate excellent results-oriented customer service skills and expertise using Microsoft SQL Server and C# to develop software solutions that optimize user productivity, including developing automations using technology like Power Automate and Microsoft Copilot. With continued growth on the horizon, our plan calls for a talented professional with particular strength in Microsoft SQL Server, C#, along with Visual Studio and the .NET framework.

Experience with Microsoft SQL based Enterprise Resource Planning software, and especially Epicor Prophet 21 is a plus. There is an opportunity to develop to Sr. Software Developer or Technology Management roles to support our growing Technology team.

This position reports to the Information Technology Director. Responsibilities: Develop software/electronic tools that interface with our Microsoft SQL Server based enterprise software system that facilitate improved user function and reduces labor costs through automation and application of established business logic. Integrate company business logic into the company enterprise software system using C#, SQL, and system API’s/utilities.

Effectively manage projects and deploy finished product that functions as designed and is consistently delivered in a timely manner. Regularly assess utility and efficiency of current software systems through observation and communication with managers and other stakeholders and make recommendations for improvement of the software systems/tools. Responsible for the maintenance and documentation of electronic tools and system design changes.

Support the continuous operation of the company software and databases. Support the timely development of tools, reports, functions, automations, and other features as requested by management that result in improved functionality and user experience. Research and recommend how new emerging technologies can be incorporated to automate processes and improve performance in all areas of the company.

Requirements: Minimum three years’ experience developing software using C# and Microsoft SQL. Four-year degree with computer science, computer-related emphasis; or specific technical sciences with relevant curriculum is preferred . Demonstrated experience creating business software solutions from scratch is required . Working knowledge of MS SQL Server® database administration is desired . Report writing experience using PowerBI or Crystal Reports is desired but not required . Demonstrated experience managing work and projects that achieve desired outcomes and are on time. Ability and desire to learn new technologies.
