Overview

Tokio Marine HCC - D&O, a member of the Tokio Marine group of companies, provides specialized insurance products, is seeking a Software Developer. As a Software Developer on our team, you will be responsible for the implementation of new features and maintenance of our new in-house built policy administration application in a collaborative team and with our business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Write clean, scalable code using .NET programming languages
Develop well-structured C# code
Develop client displays and user interfaces
Assist software personnel in handling project related work and other requirements
Coordinate with other software professionals and developers
Analyzing and resolving application issues as necessary
Document, implement, and provide ongoing technical support for supported applications in our continuous delivery process
Responsible for troubleshooting, reproducing, and resolving issue in the application
Document, implement, and provide ongoing technical support for our applications in our continuous delivery process
Research, planning and providing proof of concepts for enhancement when necessary
Other development duties as assigned or requested

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

3 or more years relevant work experience
Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or related field
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Familiarity with the ASP.NET framework (4.0 and above), SQL Server and design/architectural patterns
C#, WPF with XAML experience.
Team Foundation Server
MVVM code pattern
Entity Framework, ADO.Net
Strong experience with T-SQL, SQL Server management, Stored Procedure creation
Familiarity with architecture styles/APIs (REST, RPC)
Understanding of Agile methodologies (previous experience on a Scrum team a plus)
Strong attention to detail
Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
Able to work well in a team setting
experience with DevExpress a plus
Experience with Azure Dev Ops a plus

Position Summary: The Epic Business Intelligence Developer (BID) works under the direction of the Epic Reporting Manager and is responsible for the design, build and testing of operational and analytical reports based on detailed specifications. Will serve as a primary analytics contact for customers in their supported service area.
