JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Duties:

Fox Cable Network Services, LLC seeks a Software Developer (Associate Software Engineer) to utilize background in computer science to develop software, systems, and services to solve Fox's big data needs. Specific duties include: 1) Develop and maintain large code base by writing readable, modular and well tested code. 2) Develop systems leveraging machine learning concepts and cloud tools. 3) Curate datasets to train and test pre-existing systems. 4) Use cloud tools to interact with stored data. 5) Create web services to consume, manipulate and visualize data. 6) Create web applications to interact and visualize condensed data. 7) Write Unit test cases to test the correctness of webservices and intermediate functions. Telecommuting permitted from any location in the U.S.

Job Requirements:

Requires a Master's degree in Computer Science or related field, plus two (2) years of software engineering or related software development experience including API development; web application development; and unit test case development.

• Specific skills: Also requires experience or knowledge in the following: 1) Machine learning model development; 2) Machine learning model analysis; 3) Data analysis, data manipulation, data visualization and data correlation; 4) Python, C#, .Net, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript; 5) Amazon Personalize, Amazon Sage Maker, Amazon EC2, Amazon S3, and Amazon Lambda and step functions; and 6) Excel, Tableau and Git

• Any level of knowledge, experience and/or coursework in the specific skills is acceptable.
