Software Developer Engineer In Test (Sdet) - QA Engineer

Deposco is searching for a highly-talented Software Development Engineer in Test to join its

close-knit Quality Assurance team with focus on automation. The successful candidate for this

role must be curious, self-driven and ready to learn! They must be a problem-solver who can

think "outside of the box" and is passionate about delivering quality products and services. This

role will report to the Director of Quality and Solutions and will play an integral role in helping to

shape the future growth of the team and Deposco.

What You'll Do:

• Participate in requirement meetings and project-related meetings to gain a thorough understanding of project goals and objectives

• Analyze project requirements, identifying gaps and ensuring acceptability for test case creation

• Own and develop automated tests in Java/Python for our omnichannel suite of solutions

• Utilize automated testing tools for the RESTFUL service tied to marketplace integrations

• Identify specific use cases tied to the individual marketplaces and assist in testing those manually as needed, while working on the longer-term automated solution

• Develop automated acceptance and unit test for the agile team

• Work with Jenkins and CI tools to automate development, building, deployment, and testing

• Be a part of the Scrum team and work closely with product owners to understand the

• requirements

• Analyze test results from a technical standpoint and provide detailed analysis to technology team

• Test related support for production issue troubleshooting in collaboration with Dev

• Develop all test artifacts required as part of the QA deliverables such as test plans, test scripts, strategy, RTM documents, etc.

What You'll Need:

• Four-year degree in Computer Science/Engineering preferred

• 2+ years experience in software quality testing

• 2+ years of Agile Experience

• 3 years Java Experience preferred

• 3 years Python Experience preferred

• Experience in integration platforms preferred

• Detailed knowledge of all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle including requirements gathering, design, and testing with experience using current testing methodologies and tools

• Working knowledge on JSON and XML messaging

• Experience with Atlassian tools like JIRA, Confluence, and etc.

• Experience developing in agile & with CI tools like GitHub

• Relational database understanding with the ability to query MySQL database to verify the test results

• Exposure/working knowledge with Restful automation tools

• Knowledge and understanding of at least one OOP language, scripting language a plus

• Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced and dynamic company environment under tight deadlines

• Excellent analytical and organizational skills with the ability to multitask on multiple projects at one time

• Strong individual initiative and ownership of projects and quality testing tasks

• Reside in Georgia. We are not currently relocating for this position.
