CACI is seeking a full-time software developer for work on site at Wright Patterson AFB in Dayton, Ohio. You will be developing code in a Linux/Windows environment to improve and expand the current capabilities of RF modeling, simulation, control, and data analysis tools. Previous experience with these models is not required. You will be working in a highly collaborative environment with opportunities to lead development subtasks. What You'll Get to Do:

  • Design, develop, and maintain RF modeling, simulation, and analysis software to support sensor research and development

  • Develop new or enhance existing software for RF signal environment generation

  • Increase automation and efficiency of laboratory operations

  • Improve maintainability and testability of current software

  • Collaborate with teammates, customers, and other contractors in an Agile development environment

  • Opportunities to learn through exposure to a diverse set of engineering/programming skills, disciplines and subject matter experts

You'll Bring These Qualifications:

  • BS degree in software engineering, mathematics, or computer engineering, and at least 1 year of experience in the field or in a related area, or an Associate's degree in software engineering, mathematics, or computer engineering, and at least 3 years of experience in the field or in a related area

  • Proficient in C++

  • Experience with cross-platform development (Windows and Linux)

  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum practices

  • Familiarity with modern DevOps practices

  • Experience in Python and JavaScript

  • Experience with CMake

  • Experience with Git or similar version control systems

  • Familiarity with GitLab or similar source control management software

  • Familiarity with microservice architectures

  • Technical writing/documentation experience

  • SECRET clearance requirement to begin employment. As a requirement of continued employment, you will be required to obtain TS/SCI clearance

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Experience with TypeScript

  • Experienced with Agile/Scrum practices

  • Experience with C, Java, MATLAB/Simulink, Visual Studio, VSCode

  • Experience with RF signal generators

  • Experience with use of I/Q data for RF signal control and analysis

  • DevOps experience

  • Oracle database experience

  • Experience using a testing framework such as Google Test

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:</p><ul><li><p>IT Administrator</p></li><li><p>Manage AWS resources to include sftp, GitLab, GitLab Runners, Mattermost, and OpenProject servers</p></li><li><p>Update servers as necessary to include security updates and new features.
