Job Description:

The Application Programmer Interface (API) Software Engineer is responsible for: designing, developing, testing, and deploying the foundational communication layer between our business area's centralized data center and the corporate enterprise control tower.

Translate customer requirements into product and systems specifications while addressing technical, schedule, and cost considerations.

Develop test plans and procedures including verification and validation in collaboration with designers and developers to ensure decisional and performance outcomes according to requirements.

Thorough understanding of multithreading in C# using the async/await design and incorporating that into a Microsoft Windows Service application.

Basic Qualifications

Must be a US Citizen and have the ability to obtain a Department of Defense Secret clearance.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited university

Candidates must have at least 2 years of professional, hands-on experience.

Experience with the following skills:

  • Visual Studio

  • MVC Framework

  • Web Services in C# / .Net (SOAP, REST or WCF)

  • SQL Server

  • Object Oriented Programming/Design

  • Multithreaded design implementing async/await

  • Unit Testing/Regression Testing

  • Windows Service Development
