Brooksource is looking for a sharp software developer to join our financial services client located right downtown Milwaukee. As a key contributor of this team, you will work on an Agile Scrum team to build a business-critical internal system for Human Resources to revamp and improve their internal onboarding process.

What we're looking for!
2+ years of development experience
Experience with relational databases (DB2 and/or NoSQL a plus)
Experience with developing enterprise applications with Java
Understanding of Unit Testing framework
Working experience with HTML5, CSS / LESS / React
Passionate about learning new technologies
Ability to comprehend business requirements and explain technical solutions to a variety of audience members
Experience with Postgres and MySQL databases
Effectively collaborate with Mentors, and other teams working on similar technologies
Embraces Lean-Agile principles and a DevOps environment
Experience with Node.JS
Informatica experience or related ETL
Hands on experience with Java 1.8 features
Exposure to microservices architecture
Experience with Spring Framework and creating/maintaining Restful APIs
Exposure to AWS and container services (i.e. Docker, Kubernetes)
Experience working on a geographically distributed Scrum/Agile team
Ability to openly collaborate with team members to break down work into user stories with acceptance criteria and identify swarming opportunities
Experience with DevOps processes
Familiarity with SCM tools (GitHub, Jira) and CI-CD tools (Jenkins, Ansible)
