Software Developer 2 Applications/Software Development

I. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICESTexas Higher Education Coordinating Board requires the services of 1 Software Developer 2, hereafter referred to as Candidate(s), who meets the general qualifications of Software Developer 2, Applications/Software Development and the specifications outlined in this document for the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board.

All work products resulting from the project shall be considered "works made for hire" and are the property of the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board and may include pre-selection requirements that potential Vendors (and their Candidates) submit to and satisfy criminal background checks as authorized by Texas law. Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board will pay no fees for interviews or discussions, which occur during the process of selecting a Candidate(s).

Designs, develops, updates, and maintains ColdFusion applications including but not limited to:

o Configuring ColdFusion web applications using IIS Web Server.

o Using ColdFusion Admin console.

o Enabling different levels of logging options in ColdFusion.

Knowledge of deprecated functionality and changes to functionality from CF16 to CF21

Conducts testing to verify logic and ensure compliance with development standards and system/business requirements.

Completes complex project work, including troubleshooting and correcting coding errors/issues.

Provides status updates on work assignments and any technical issues that present risk to project timeline as required by selected project framework.

The programmer will be required to comply with the THECB application development documentation requirements, which includes deliverables consistent with the Software Development Life Cycle.

The programmer will be required to comply with THECB data security policy.II. CANDIDATE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONSMinimum Requirements:

Candidates that do not meet or exceed the minimum stated requirements (skills/experience) will be displayed to customers but may not be chosen for this opportunity.

Years Required/Preferred Experience

5 Required ColdFusion/CFML web application development, support & design in a database-centric environment

3 Required Experience to configure ColdFusion web applications using IIS Web Server.

3 Required Experience using ColdFusion configuration options in Cold Fusion Admin console.

3 Required Enabling different levels of logging options in ColdFusion.

3 Required Experience using Microsoft SQL Server

1 Preferred Experience using JWT (Jason Web Token)

1 Preferred Experience with integrating ColdFusion web applications with Azure B2C is a plus.
