Role Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships in order to effectively drive incremental revenue within your customer base

  • Prospect within Account base to generate net new pipeline

  • Create and maintain a territory plan to prioritize activities and ensure success

  • Collaborate with Field Boomi Account Executives to pursue, manage and close larger revenue deals within overlapping territory

  • Work closely with Customer Success and Customer Support when customer satisfaction or product issues arise

  • With Boomi Sales Engineers, conduct regular business reviews with customers, identifying areas of potential architectural improvement and platform expansion

  • Manage complex sales-cycles, and present to decision makers the value of our full suite of applications

  • Forecast sales activity and revenue achievement in salesforce.com, while enhancing customer satisfaction

  • Share success and collaborate in a team oriented environment

  • Ideal candidate must to be to clearly articulate the Boomi brand and educate at all levels, evangelizing our solution and publicizing success stories

Qualifications

Requirements

  • 2+ years of quota carrying Software or Technology Sales

  • Software sales experience in the software-as-a-service (SaaS) & application/data integration

  • Track record of over-achieving quota (top 10-20% of company) in past positions

  • Strong written and verbal communications skills

Job Description The successful candidate will play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious revenue growth and customer success objectives in selling to our existing customer base. You will work exclusively with select Gainsight customers, with the objective to increase their add-on business and cross-sell additional applications by building deeper strategic relationships. You will manage the customer relationships following initial sale through renewal, helping your customers to reach the ROI of their Gainsight purchase. The ideal candidate will have excelled in a start-up environment and have a strong understanding of enterprise SaaS/Cloud applications. What You'll Do * Maintain and grow revenue from existing customers by selling additional solutions, or by prospecting into new divisions. Specifically: * Handle renewals & negotiations for customers within your territory * Up-Sell and Cross-Sell into existing customer base * Develop strategic sales plans to effectively and efficiently oversee your customers * Identify & build relationships with key Executive Stakeholders within your portfolio * Obtain a deep understanding of customer business challenges - identify & propose solutions which will address their needs * Consult with and advise large, strategic Gainsight customers with a goal to drive broader deployment of Gainsight across the enterprise * Coordinate with internal teams such as Client Outcomes & Professional Services, to ensure we're aligned on strategy and driving the best outcome on behalf of our customers What We're Looking For * A minimum of 8+ years of quota carrying experience with a software application company * 5+ years' experience in Account Management * Proven ability to sell to C-level Executives, negotiate with procurement and cross collaborate within a customer's organization * Track record of consistently over achieving quota * Ability to work in a fast paced, high growth environment and be a team player * Experience closing complex sales cycles in a consultative manner * Proven success of identifying opportunities & closing deals within a start-up environment * Willingness to travel * Knowledge of Salesforce.com applications preferred * BS/BA degree Job Benefits At Gainsight, we don't believe in doing things as a "means to an end."
