As a senior member of the development team, we are looking for someone to be a mentor to others, an advocate of best practices, and an active coach across the organization. In this role you work with on a collaborative team of engineers so excellent interpersonal and communication skills are also a must.
Contribute to strategic architecture and vision
Evaluate new tools and technologies, create prototypes and proof of concepts, and share your result with your peers
Actively mentor engineers to develop their expertise
Work with engineering teams as they start new projects to ensure a maintainable architecture is created
Adhere to and advocate for development best practices including test driven development and agile methodologies
Contribute ideas for continually improving the team's productivity and code quality
Become an expert in our existing systems in order to innovate on their further improvement

10+ yrs of experience in producing software, with the last 2-4yrs contributing at a Senior or Principal level
Expert experience with TDD, SOLID design, SOA, scalability
Organize and prioritize individual workload in order to meet required deadlines
Communicate effectively with team members, team leads, and on occasion with clients
Work as a member of a team, accept ownership of work and actively contribute to team discussions
