We are looking for an experienced, hands-on and highly motivated Software Architect to fill a key role in our IoT applications team. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining the architecture for our IoT applications and IoT application platform to solve complex business challenges. The ideal candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.


  • Analyze business requirements and define the architecture and detailed design for IoT applications & platforms.

  • Interfacing with several internal teams on architectural topics.

  • Do research on technologies to provide guidance on their applicability to business challenges. Ability to rapidly assimilate new technologies and be able to communicate effectively with various teams.

  • Work with the Product teams and Engineering teams to define technical requirements.

  • Develop the Proof of Concept when required.

  • Work with internal / external customers to gather, understand, and document the requirements.

  • Present architecture and design to internal/external stakeholders. Able to communicate complex technologies in a simple manner to non-technical teams. Strong presentation skills is a must.

  • Handle complex issues and discrepancies of opinion among stakeholders to negotiate a resolution and set the priorities.

  • Develop and maintain architectural documents.

At least 5 years of experience as a software architect.

  • Hands on experience in software programming with experience in Java technologies, NodeJS, Java script, Python

  • Excellent knowledge of Microservice based architectures.

  • Excellent knowledge of relational, no SQL and Graph database.

  • Strong knowledge on API's and API gateways.

  • Good knowledge on multi cloud deployments (focus on AWS and Azure).

  • Knowledge of Agile methodology.

  • Ability to work independently, attention to detail, good organizational skills, and ability to handle tasks of high complexity

  • Excellent verbal, written, analytical, interpersonal, problem solving and presentation communication skills to effectively interact with all levels of the organization and issue resolution.
