SUMMARY OF POSITION:

DF Title, LLC dba Golden Dog Title & Trust is seeking a dedicated SoftPro Administrator to join our dynamic team. As a SoftPro Administrator, you will play a crucial role in providing technical assistance and support to users of SoftPro, a leading software solution for real estate title, closing, and escrow processes. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure our staff receive prompt and efficient resolution to their software-related issues, while also providing guidance and training as needed. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and make a meaningful impact on our business.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure backup, recovery, security, availability, maintenance, and performance of enterprise database technology.

  • Create, maintain, monitor, and test backup and recovery jobs.

  • Resolve database issues and help to determine root cause.

  • Perform administration, installation, upgrade, configuration, and patch management of all enterprise database technology.

  • Diagnose and escalate complex issues to appropriate internal teams or third-party vendors for further investigation and resolution.

  • Perform on-call support.

  • Recommend database technology features/functions to application developers.

  • Conduct software training sessions for staff, either one-on-one or in group settings, to ensure they are proficient in using SoftPro software.

  • Assist with testing and evaluating IT vendor products.

  • Review application designs for compliance with production acceptance requirements.

  • Provide critical technical input and expertise in large-scale projects.

  • Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the enhancement of our support operations.

EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.

  • Proven experience (2+ years) providing technical support for software applications.

  • Strong understanding of real estate title, closing, and escrow processes is highly desirable.

  • Proficiency in troubleshooting Windows operating systems, SQL databases, and network configurations.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical users.

  • Exceptional problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Prior experience working with CRM systems and ticketing tools (e.g., Salesforce, Zendesk) is a plus.

  • Knowledge of Python is a plus, with the ability to write scripts for automation and data manipulation tasks.

  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve database-related issues efficiently.

  • Proactive approach to identifying and addressing potential performance bottlenecks and security vulnerabilities.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
