Along with the Soft Count Manager; responsible for supervising and training the team for the drop and count of the EGM machines as well as storage and shredding of EGM Tickets.
PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervise the Drop from 6 am to 8 am at a minimum of two (2) days a week.
Ability to make sound decisions during high pressure situations.
Work closely with and able to answer questions/resolve issues with Audit, Security and Cage.
Supervise personnel by giving and receiving feedback.
Work closely with the Soft Count Manager making recommendations regarding personnel performance and how to better the count and drop processes.
Operating and resolve issues with a variety of Soft Count equipment.
Ensure the integrity and completion of all Soft Count transactions & Drop procedures on the days scheduled to work.
Held accountable, to a high degree, for accuracy and thoroughness of departmental policies & procedures.
Enforce TRC Policies and Procedures, Drop Team/Soft Count Procedures at all times.
Authorize changes in schedule as needed for Late Call/No Shows.
Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with all departments, including needed property or service concerns.
Integrate the Three Rivers brand purpose into all processes, communications and guest/team member experiences.
Maintain awareness of, and effectively communicate to other staff, property-wide/company promotions, events and programs. Keep fellow team members/guests informed regarding the direction of the organization.
Ensure that all fellow team members will adhere to and deliver Superior Guest services striving to exceed our internal and external guest expectations.
Provide information and explain Players Club benefits, property amenities & marketing programs to our guests.

Communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
Other duties as directed by management.
LEVEL OF AUTHORITY & RESTRICTIONS
Supervise and train team in the EGM drop, EGM count, and EGM Ticket storage and shredding of relevant documents.
Supervise and train the proper procedures for counting, verifying and strapping all of currency and gaming chips.
WORKING CONDITIONS & ENVIRONMENT
Must be able to work in fast paced atmosphere in a confined space.
Must be able to work in a smoke-filled environment.
Must be able to be on call from 6 am to end of count, 7 days a week.
Must be able to be contacted to work unscheduled extra hours & overtime as needed.
Must be able to work all shifts, weekends, holidays & special events as needed.
PHYSICAL & MENTAL DEMANDS
Must be able to stand up to 10 hours at a time.
Must be able to move up to fifty (50) pounds.
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must possess a High school diploma or equivalent.
Must have minimum of 6 months experience in Three Rivers Casino Soft Count department.
Must possess a working knowledge of MICs used for Drop Team/Soft Count.
Must possess excellent cash handling experience as well as basic math skills.
Must possess organizational and planning skills.
Previous supervisory experience preferred.
Must be able to work with and manage diverse work crew.
Must possess reasonable ability to communicate in English.
This position is subject to pre-employment drug testing and criminal history background check which may include fingerprinting.
Must have employment eligibility in the U.S.
Must receive and maintain a valid gaming license from the Tribal Gaming Commission.
Indian preference will be observed in the hiring process.
