Position Summary

We are seeking a temporary Study Coordinator for the ELGAN-ECHO Study. Primary responsibilities include:

  • Communicating with participants pre and post study visit by phone/email/mail

  • Preparing 'visit in a box' boxes for shipment to remote study participants

  • Consenting study participant as needed.

  • Scheduling, and conducting 1-hour remote visit with participants and following up with Study PI as needed for blood pressure/hear rate alerts if needed.

  • Entering data from study visits.

  • Inventorying stock and communicating needs.

  • Sanitizing and restocking all equipment shipped back to study site, clean, repurpose, if possible, etc.

  • Updating participant tracker and stipend tracker for participants to be compensated

  • Sending follow up note or phone call to participants to remind them to complete surveys

  • Sending return of results letter and contact study PI in the case of high BP/HR warnings. Adding 'Note to File' when appropriate.

  • Recertifying every 6-month anthropometric and physical measurements

  • Attending 1 hour weekly study coordinator meetings; & twice monthly ECHO Coordinating Center Meetings

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements

Bachelor's degree; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.

Required Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience

  • Prior experience conducting in-person or remote clinic study visits.

  • Personable and ability to establish rapport with study subjects.

  • Prior experience working with/collecting pediatric data on young adult participants.

  • Available to work on site.

  • Experience with Microsoft suite including Teams and SharePoint. Experience with REDCap data collection program.

  • High attention to detail and conscientiousness.

  • Must be available to conduct remote study visits evenings and weekends as needed.

  • Must be able to come in to work on site as needed.

Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience

Prior experience collecting anthropometric (physical) measurements (height/weight, waist circumference, blood pressure and heart rate).
