Social Worker Supervisor, Lcsw

We’re working on behalf of a healthcare organization whose mission is to improve the health and well-being of their patients by providing high-quality, accessible and comprehensive primary care to every member of the family, from newborns and children to teens and older adults. As the oldest Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in Orange County, the organization has a long-standing history of delivering innovative care through group medical visits and providing integrative health therapies and treatments, including acupuncture and mindfulness training programs, as well as a teaching kitchen. We seek a California licensed candidates with strong leadership skills and with demonstrated work experience with diverse cultures and low-income populations including homeless for the role of Social Worker Supervisor. The person in this role will provide subject matter expertise on complex psychosocial evaluation and treatment plans. She/he will oversee continuous quality improvement programs to enhance the delivery of clinical social work. She/he will develop and lead formal and informal teaching. She/he will supervise clinical support staff (i.e. social workers, CPSP health educators, chemical dependency counselor and registered dietitian). She/he will oversee and/or support special projects, programs, and grants for the Clinical Support Services.  She/he will maintain outpatient social work direct service caseload in addition to supervision and program management responsibilities. Candidates must have a Masters degree in Social Worker and be licensed as an LCSW in the state of California. Our ideal candidate is bilingual (English/Spanish) and has previous experience working as a lead and/or supervisor. Must possess the necessary skills to interpret and implement hospital, JCAHO, Health Department and Child Abuse Registry standards and regulations. Must have the knowledge of and ability to work within a complex health care system. Must have demonstrated work experience with diverse cultures and low-income populations including homeless. Must be highly experienced in handling crisis situations.The role provides highly competitive compensation (salary up to $169,000 based on experience) and superb benefits.
