Belmont Behavioral Hospital currently has an opening for a Full time, Master's level trained Social Worker (MSW) Psychotherapist (Child & Adol PHP), in Outpatient Services, with a focus on serving clients within the partial hospitalization level of care.
The Social Worker (MSW) Psychotherapist in Outpatient Services provides assessment and ongoing treatment to a caseload on a daily basis. The Social Worker (MSW) Psychotherapist will provide one-to-one psychotherapy as well as facilitate group therapy to patients within the child and adolescent PHP.
This Psychotherapist will complete the required documentation on each patient on a professional level. This position works under the direction of the Executive Director of Outpatient Services and provides psychotherapy primarily to patients within the PHP level of care, across all age ranges. This position requires providing service to the following age population(s) 5 and older in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individual served. There will be opportunities to gain training and experience in evidence based practices for children, adolescents, and adults including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT).
The ideal candidate will:
Master's degree in Social Work required.
Group Therapy experience required.
