We want your knowledge and expertise!Job Summary and QualificationsAs a Social Worker in our Behavioral Health Center you will be joining a team that has a passion for creating positive patient interactions and a dedication to caring for the multi-faceted wellness of those we serve. In this role you will: * Intervene with patients who have complex psychosocial needs, require assistance with eligibility determination for social programs and funding sources, and qualify for community assistance from a variety of special funds and agencies. * Offer crisis intervention to patients and families with psychosocial needs and coordinate the development of a discharge plan of care for high-risk patient populations. * Receive referrals for individuals from at-risk populations from interdisciplinary team members. * Perform intake assessments for patients with serious mental illness and substance use disorders. * Assess for suicidal and homicidal ideations, psychosis, and other mental disorders and make appropriate referrals as needed. * Meet with patients in individual counseling sessions as well as conduct psychotherapy process groups.What qualifications you will need:Current Idaho State licensure in one of the following:*

Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)* Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC)* Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)* Licensed Masters Social Worker (LMSW)* Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)* Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (LAMFT)Minimum education (any of the following):* Master of Social Work * Master of Counseling * Master of Marriage and Family Counseling * Mental health and/or substance use treatment experience preferred. * Willingness to be supervised toward goal of pursuing advanced clinical license (if applicable).Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center (EIRMC) is a full-service hospital with 318+ patient beds.
