1.Demonstrates competency in providing clinical social worker services to inpatients, outpatients, family, staff and community members.
o Address impact of diagnosis on patient and family.
o Conducts patient and family counseling to enhance their ability to cope effectively.
o Ability to provide education/support to community groups and/or staff.
o Initiates advance care planning with patient and family.
o Able to provide day-to-day supervision for social work interns doing field placements.
