Social Worker (LMSW) Position Summary The primary function of the social worker is to coordinate the patients care collaboratively across all departments, disciplines and providers. Ensures appropriate resource utilization while providing appropriate and safe discharge planning.

The ability to mentor and supervise in terms distinguishes this position from the undergraduate social worker. Social Worker (LMSW) Position Requirements# Education Graduate of a master#s degree program in social work from a college or university approved by the Council of Social Work. Licensure as a Social Worker in the state of MD required.

Experience Minimum of 3-5 years previous experience in social work or related capacity preferably in medical/health setting preferred. Social Worker (LMSW) Work Schedule Day shift Monday-Friday, Evening and weekend work as assigned. Social Worker (LMSW) Benefits At TidalHealth, full-time employees working at least 72 hours per pay period, part-time employees working at least 36 hours per pay period and part-time employees working at least 30 hours or more on weekends only are eligible for benefits.
