Social Worker Lcsw

Maintains accountability and responsibility for efficient, effective delivery of patient care services through appropriate utilization of hospital resources. Responsible for proactive discharge planning in collaboration with the medical staff and ancillary departments within the integrated delivery network for provision of optimal patient care outcomes within the continuum of care. Responsible for negotiation of cost-effective care among clinical team members, third party payers and external agencies providing extended care.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree Behavior Health field or Master's Degree Social Work.
• upon hire: Texas Clinical Social Worker License

• Texas State Board of Social Worker Examiners or upon hire: Texas Marriage and Family Therapist License

• Texas State Board of Examiners of Marriage and Family Therapists.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2 years Clinical experience in behavioral health.
