Lakeview Regional Behavioral Health is the onlyinpatient behavioral health facility in the Southeast Region with all roomsbeing private with the newest behavioral health beds. Our Behavioral Healthprogram is an intensive, inpatient psychiatric program for short-term care. Thenew 24-bed unit, with all private rooms, provides a dedicated setting forindividuals 55 years and older who are experiencing emotional or behavioralproblems.
Our professional healthcare team iscommitted to returning patients to their maximum mental and emotional function,while optimizing independence and quality of life, and provide assistance withdischarge planning. Responsible for the social work assessment and treatment ofpatients and/or family members as appropriate. Participates inmultidisciplinary team as indicated to meet patient needs. Practices inaccordance with the LA State Board of Certified Social Work Examiners, Code ofEthics, rules and regulations and follows hospital policies andprocedures. Works independently with little or no supervision.
Clinical background in Medical Social Work.
Knowledge of Case Management functions / activities.
Master's Degree in Social Work
