We are currently seeking a positive, ambitious licensed Social Worker, MSW, to work as the District's liaison for all State approved, private, residential and out of state schools, as per CSE recommendations. This position includes generating referrals and applications to NYS schools for all students placed out of district.

The social worker must work collaboratively with families, as the case manager. The position requires ongoing monitoring of student progress in all day and residential schools. Evaluations, observations and visitations of new and current programs throughout New York State are required.

The role includes coordination of all students'special education services, participation in CSE meetings, which include District of Location, day and residential, as well as parentally placed students. Included in the responsibilities is the required NYS System to Track and Account for Children reporting.

The 10-month position begins August 30, 2024.

Salary: Step 1D (Master's) $69,527
