Social Worker

1st Location: Location: Taconic Mental Health Unit, Taconic Correctional Facility, 250 Harris Rd., Bedford Hills, NY 10507 Estimated Length: 24 months M-F, 7:30am

• 4pm Approx. 40 hours/week(M-F). Exact shift/hours to be discussed during interview. Requirements Client provides mental health services to forensic patients.
  
  Candidate will be required to submit of TB testing and recent flu shot. Candidate will be also subject to CNYPC and DOCCS orientation.
  
  Candidate will be working directly with incarcerated individuals.
  
  Contract staff would mainly be working weekdays and assisting in providing therapeutic services to patients in a primary therapist role to include individual therapy and the completion of mental health assessments and documentation (Core History, Suicide Assessments/risk assessments, Weekly/Monthly Progress Notes, Treatment Plans, Discharge Plans), according to policy and procedure.
