As a School Social Worker at Vanguard, you'll work alongside our team of educators to support students in navigating the challenges they may encounter both inside and outside the classroom. Your responsibilities will include: Guiding students through personal and academic challenges, offering compassionate support and guidance every step of the way. Providing crisis intervention services to students in need, ensuring their safety and well-being are prioritized at all times. Developing intervention strategies tailored to individual student needs, with a focus on enhancing academic success and fostering personal growth. Assisting students with conflict resolution and anger management techniques, promoting a positive and respectful learning environment for all. Helping students develop appropriate social interaction skills, equipping them with the tools they need to build meaningful relationships and thrive in a diverse society. Assisting students in understanding and accepting themselves and others, fostering a culture of empathy, inclusivity, and understanding within our school community.
