Schedule/Location:

We are located at 1069 Broadway, Saugus MA (Rt. 1 South). We are seeking a full-time Social Worker to support this office in a hybrid capacity with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote.

Due to the hybrid nature of the role, we ensure that our employees receive required technology and training to be proficient and independently productive in all job responsibilities regardless of work location. Employees are responsible for designating a workspace within the remote work location that is private, safe, ergonomic, and free from distractions for all hours worked.

Under the general direction of the Behavioral Health Program Manager, the Integrated Care Behavioral Health Clinician provides clinical evaluations and counseling to patients with behavioral health needs and psychiatric disorders, as a member of the primary care team.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conducts intake evaluations, assessments and treatment plans for psychotherapy.

  • Provides psychotherapy through individual and family sessions as clinically indicated, allocated up to 75 percent of time to direct service.

  • Assesses for additional behavioral health needs and coordinates follow up with primary care or referral to specialty care as needed.

  • Attends peer supervision and periodic review meetings, including collaboration with primary care provider and the primary care team.

  • Ensures competency by maintaining continuing education credits required for LICSW licensure.

  • Attends mental health in-service programs.

  • Demonstrates understanding of psychiatric emergency policies including protocols for domestic violence, elder and child abuse.

  • Documents timely and relevant information in the EMR as appropriate for patient care and in compliance with insurance requirements for billable services.

Qualifications

  • Education: Master's degree in social work required.

  • Licensure: Current licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) is required.

  • Experience: Minimum of two years of supervised experience post LCSW in treatment of patients representing wide range of psychiatric disorders. Knowledge through education and clinical experience of the developmental issues related to adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations. Care coordination/case management experience a plus.
