Responsibilities:
Serve as a full-time faculty member, teaching trauma-informed clinical content for MSW program. The incumbent would be expected to teach courses totaling (19 graduate credit hours) that include, but are not limited to, Advanced year MSW courses with an emphasis on clinical content.
Instruct courses in the MSW program at the Foundation and Advanced year level in an asynchronous manner.
Assist with the CSWE reaccreditation process, program development and growth, program assessment, and curriculum design and delivery.
Attend two Professional Development Labs during the academic year remotely.
Maintain Licensed Independent or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LISW/LICSW) status in the State of Minnesota.
Instruct courses in varied locations, at varied times, and via various media commensurate with department and university needs.
Engage in scholarly research or creative achievement to enhance knowledge of field.
Provide evidence of continuing preparation and study in the field to enhance teaching abilities. Contribute to student growth and development including student advising.
Provide service to the university and community including the program, the department, the college, the university, and the greater community.
Support Winona State University's mission to enhance the intellectual, social, cultural, and economic vitality of the people and communities we serve.
Periodic in-person attendance of department and university events (e.g., curriculum
retreats, WSU-Welcome Week).
