Overview The School-Based Early Support (SBES) Program is a new program providing counseling and case management services to families connected with PS/MS15, PS291, PS 246 or who live within those surrounding communities.

The Supervisor provides clinical and case management supervision to assigned staff to ensure that casework and case management practices meet and excel expected standards of professionalism. The Supervisor ensures that the program complies with agency policies and contractual commitments. Reports To:

Program Director Location: 2471 Morris Ave. Bronx, New York 10468 Hours: 35 Hours/Week; Exempt Salary: $66,000 - $75,000 Major Duties: Supervision/Professional Development Provide individual weekly supervision to assigned staff (3-4 case workers and 1 family worker). Meet with staff as a unit for group supervision as needed.

Coach and train staff on skill development in the areas of casework, counseling, home visits, crisis intervention, advocacy, and referral, etc. Onboard new hires. Evaluates the learning needs of individual supervisees and ensure GSS and ACS training requirements are met.

Implement and integrate the principles and procedures of Solution Based Casework: assessment, family and individual level outcomes, action plans and documentation and celebration. Facilitate case consultation and offer support and guidance to ensure staff are adhering to the tenets of SBC. Integrate the practices of SBC into every supervisory session.

Participate in continued SBC training, coaching and the SBC certification process. Serve as staff backup and accompany workers to participant visits and meetings when needed. Assist staff in collaborating, coordinating, and integrating services with other GSS programs; especially at the assigned partner schools (PS246, PS/MS15 & 291). Ensure all staff are assessing and referring families to internal, Triple P parenting group.

Supervise student interns. Administrative Support Works closely with Program Director on the general functioning of the prevention program. Participates in hiring staff.

Collaborates with Assistant Program Director to ensure families in the partnering schools are receiving services and achieving goals. Maintain supervisory and casework logs. Monitor Case Planner's day-to-day case practice and documentation, including FASP, other assessments, and statistical recording.

Ensures all deadlines are met by staff they supervise. Represent agency on relevant external meetings to maintain ongoing collaboration with ACS, schools, and other service providers. Participate in monthly staff meetings.

Conduct initial and annual staff performance reviews. Complete all required internal and external trainings. Other duties and projects as assigned.

Qualifications: Masters in Mental Health Field required; Licensure to practice clinical social work (LCSW) or creative art therapy (LCAT) preferred. Must have supervisory experience in a child welfare setting. Must be able to work two evenings per week until 7:00 p.m.
