TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: This 1.0 FTE position begins August 21, 2024.

COMPENSATION & BENEFIT HIGHLIGHTS:

190-day per year contract
6 paid holidays per year
$46,571 to $92,561, DOE and education.

JOB DESCRIPTION: To teach high school Social Studies to students in grades 9-12.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Current Oregon Secondary or Pre-K through Grade 12 teaching license with Social Studies endorsement.
Must be highly qualified under the federal definition.
Must demonstrate a growth mindset and willingness to embrace open access to rigorous coursework.
Preference may be given to those trained/experienced, or willing to be trained in teaching A/P History and/or an International Baccalaureate
Preference may be given to those bilingual in Spanish and English.
Physical demands needed: ability to communicate with students, co-workers, and the public; ability to communicate over the telephone; ability to respond to telephone, bells, students, co-workers, etc.; ability to respond to classroom disturbances, visual cues, student requests, etc.; ability to operate office equipment; ability to carry or lift light loads (25 lbs).
