Job Description

The Community is looking for an English & Spanish speaking Social Strategist to join our expanding Strategy team. This team is focused on bringing in communications planning to ensure our best creative ideas are seen in the right context and at the right time. You are passionate about social media and pushes out of the box, not your status quo, strategy. You are someone that stays on top of social platform shifts or updates and can navigate the possible effects. You are eager to jump in and learn about different audiences to uncover entertaining ways to reach them through social and digital. This is a hybrid role, based in our NYC or MIA office.

Position Overview:

The Social Strategist plays an important role within the Strategy team and the agency. Your role is to not only help implement digital programs but also provide ongoing strategic counsel to their account and creative partners to address the client's short and long-term team goals. You will work with diverse teams, and should always develop relevant content to social insights to help the team identify areas of growth/opportunity/improvement for the business. You will play a very visible role with the appropriate client partners and provide support to both the account and creative teams.

This is a hybrid role, requiring three days in-office each week. If you are contacted for an interview, your recruiter will discuss specifics with you, inclusive of any necessary reasonable accommodations.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and lead campaign social briefs by providing clear direction, inspiration, and education to creative teams

  • Dive deep into our clients' CRM, loyalty and CRM lifecycle strategies to understand:

  • Competitive landscapes and whitespace opportunities

  • Strategies to build deeper relationships with customers

  • Opportunities to evolve existing programs to deliver exceptional experiences

  • Stay up to date with social media trends, platform developments, best practices

  • Provide social recommendations as a part of broader, cross-channel campaigns

  • Help develop social plans and POVs to guide agency teams and clients based on latest trends and changes in social

  • Form collaborative relationships with other agency capabilities, partner agency teams and other partners

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in an advertising creative agency, or similar role

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Journalism, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)

  • English & Spanish (written and verbal) skills with the ability to relate to clients, teammates and external partners.

  • Knowledge of research tools, including Helixa, Infegy, Crimson Hexagon or similar tools

Additional Information

Compensation Range: $64,500 - $101,500 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the qualifications of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and we reserve the right to modify this pay range at any time.
