The role of the Social Services Clinician is to work with and support patients through the provision of information/education, resources, advocacy and referrals. This position assists patients and families to navigate systems of care utilizing personal, community and governmental resources. The comprehensive impact of health conditions on the client and family will be addressed in partnership with medical providers to meet their various social service concerns.

This posting is for multiple openings for Social Services Clinician BSW at Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage, AK. We offer several openings for various FTEs and shifts. We are hiring for the following positions in this Department:

Social Services Clinician BSW - Full-Time (1.0 FTE, Day Shift, 40 Hours Per Week)

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Social Work.
  • 1 year of Work or practicum experience in the provision of social services.
