Position Overview:
Title: Social Rehabilitation Supervisor
Reports to: Assistant Director of Community Programs
Department: Social Rehabilitation
Classification: Non-Exempt; Non-Union
The Social Rehabilitation Supervisor is responsible for providing daily direction for staff and overseeing daily program operations, scheduling, groups, activities, and outings, as directed by the Assistant Director of Community Programs. The Social Rehabilitation Supervisor will support the Assistant Director of Community Programs in carrying out the vision of the Oasis/AXS programs. This position will be responsible for managing the client census, and the supervision of employees, as assigned.
Essential Functions:
Oversee daily operations of programs including, but not limited to, building/office maintenance, drills, vehicle maintenance, timely admission and discharge planning, behavior contract implementation and adherence, overall adherence to the program budget, and upkeep of program newsletters.
Daily Person Served (PS) crisis intervention, in collaboration with the Assistant Director of Community Programs and/or a member of the clinical leadership team.
Understand program fidelities for Oasis/AXS/MIRP and ensure program adherence to contract standards.
Effectively implement new programs and policies/procedures, as directed.
Maintain relationships with Community Partners and stakeholders. Consistently ensure adequate scheduling and coverage of personnel.
Provide supervision, complete performance evaluations, and implement accountability standards among all reporting staff in collaboration with Assistant Director of Community Programs.
Assist with hiring of program personnel.
Oversee orientation, as well as initial and ongoing training of program employees.
Hold daily team huddles for operations, and create the agenda for, and run, team meetings.
Assist with holding the Day Program Risk Review Meeting and creating minutes; Engage with weekly Risk Review to report out on program PS, and engage with any team clinical meetings to provide input around client issues.
Connect with referral sources to set meetings for possible placement within program.
Represent SCSI as a member of the SCSI Leadership Team, attending monthly leadership meetings and participating in identified leadership development opportunities.
Perform other duties, as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma, or equivalent, required.
A minimum of three (3) years of human services-related work experience required
Supervisory experience preferred
Current, valid Motor Vehicle Drivers' license required
Knowledge of evidence-based practices within the field of mental health/co-occurring disorders required
Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and other web-based systems
Excellent written and oral communication skills required
CPR/First Aid Certified or eligible
Physical Requirements:
Regularly required to sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, and climb stairs
Regularly required to walk, talk and/or hear
Speaking and hearing ability should be sufficient to communicate effectively by phone or in person at normal volumes
Vision adequate to read correspondence, computer screen, forms, etc.
Specific vision abilities required by this position include the ability to adjust focus
Occasionally required to stand and climb or balance
Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs
