This position is located at our corporate headquarters, in the premier downtown Power & Light district of Kansas City. What you'll do

The Social Media Specialist is a liaison between H&R Block clients and H&R Block, providing answers to service questions, concerns and feedback initiated by the client through Social Media channels. Escalates issues for clients and drives resolution.

Keep clients informed using proper communication channels. Owns and actively monitors the flow of all issues across all tiers of support and redirect cases, invoke contingencies for backups/overflows as needed. Perform client call backs and follow-up to ensure best possible customer support experience. Maintain an awareness of all planned and unplanned events potentially affecting customer support.

What you'll bring to the role

  • Two years customer service experience.

  • One year of call center experience.

  • Effectively demonstrate oral, written and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to interact with all levels of associates.

  • Ability to communicate clearly and calmly on the telephone, email and chat and to use effective customer service techniques with clients who may be under stress.

  • Action oriented, detail orientated, self-motivated and capable of coordinating several tasks simultaneously.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.

This role is responsible for providing content and insight into current trends and impact measurement within the digital marketing space. This position is fully integrated into Caesars Marketing team and will be exposed to the positioning of Caesars as an engaging brand by creating great experiences, telling stories through articles/posts/tweets and media across multiple platforms. KEY JOB FUNCTIONS: 1. Is the primary point person in creating, curating and promoting content on social networks. 2. Runs point on listening on social networks and responding and is the "voice" of the brand on these networks. 3. Lead insights into content marketing strategies to produce, edit and distribute original content, articles, feature stories and special content to grow audiences, awareness, and engagement metrics/conversion across multiple platforms. 4. Contribute to editorial calendar keeping content refreshed, accurate and up-to-date; work closely with PR, Entertainment, Gaming, F&B, etc. to develop, ideas for articles on relevant topics, showcasing specific/seasonal themes and events. 5. Drive research and awareness of hot/effective social media campaigns to continually evolve strategy. 6. Audit and maintain standards/guidelines on brand tone, voice, and curation content mix. 7. Leverage tracking strategies to monitor and evaluate impact of programs in market; develop reports on program effectiveness in market and makes recommendations for program enhancement and improvement. 8. Develop and present recommendations for increasing ratings and review traffic through third parties (e.g., Yelp, Trip Advisor, Google, etc.). 9. Lead insights into digital trends across all areas of multicultural communities and social platforms. 10. Position requires performing other duties and special assignments not specifically stated. Qualifications and Experience: 1. Bachelor's degree in related field and/or equivalent work experience required. 2. Candidate should be self-motivated, detail orientated, and prioritize multiple tasks. 3. In depth knowledge and understanding of online community platforms and their respective participants (Forums, blogs, photo uploads, social, etc.) and how they can be deployed. 4. Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills. 5. Minimum 2-3 years of experience managing online communities and/or platforms for brands.
