Position Summary:

The Social Media Marketing Associate will be responsible for building an engaging social community around the IIN brand. The social media platforms should provide a resource for leads, students and graduates and act as an authority on nutrition, health and wellness. These platforms are essential in providing brand awareness and in driving traffic, including lead generation to IIN's branded pages.

As a Social Media Marketing Associate, you will:

  • Manage Social Channels

  • Develop and implement marketing strategies for all social media channels including main Facebook channel, Facebook groups, Facebook pages, Twitter accounts, Instagram accounts, Pinterest, and LinkedIn; content should be related, but specific to each individual channel

  • Platform monitoring and scheduling

  • Determine the type of content that works best on each platform, optimizing content accordingly

  • Clearly convey ideas in a precise way to align with the marketing objectives of the post

  • Weekly tasks/monthly tasks

  • Collaborate with marketing team to promote marketing efforts through social channels

  • Special Projects

  • Research and partner with relevant graduates and influencers on social media campaigns/contests to drive buzz to platforms

  • Content creation (video/photo) and unique social media campaigns that resonates with audiences on different channels

  • Promote IIN events on social channels where relevant

  • Brainstorm new and unique ways to engage audience

  • Monthly Reporting/Analyzing Trends

  • Analyze data / trends in each social media channel and leverage this to build new content and to repost user-generated content

  • Develop reporting to communicate learnings from the past and opportunities going forward

  • Responsible for Building and Maintaining robust list of IIN graduates and testimonials for use in Marketing Emails and Promotions

  • Miscellaneous assistance where required with Marketing Promotions

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Self-Starter, able to identify trends in health and wellness and adjust strategy appropriately

  • Ability to manage multiple projects, setting priorities, and meeting deadlines

  • Create content that is relevant to target consumers and current students and graduates

  • Create a healthy balance of posts between selling and garnering a community
