We have an exciting opportunity to join IQVIA as a Social Media Manager

The IQVIA global marketing team is seeking a seasoned Social Media Manager to join our team. Our ideal candidate is passionate and experienced in setting and executing social media strategy and tactics for a Fortune 500 organization.

The Social Media Manager role will support global, regional, and enterprise marketing and communication stakeholders. This role will be critical in setting the strategy and direction for IQVIA's social media presence and in leading our Social Media Center of Excellence.

As part of this role you will:

Develop and implement IQVIA's social strategy with an up-to-date understanding of social best practices across the competitive landscape, ensuring alignment with broader marketing priorities, business goals, voice, and brand. Platforms may include but are not limited to LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube.

Update and optimize our company global social media accounts to increase the visibility of our social content.

Plan and share content in an engaging manner to connect with prospects, customers, colleagues, and influencers, including events live social media coverage across IQVIA's global social channels.

Collaborate with a cross-functional team of stakeholders across business units to ensure alignment on strategies, tactics, and outcomes.

Monitor brand across our IQVIA Global social media channels and web for complaints/potential crisis situations and escalate to Media Relations; HR; Legal; Ethics & Compliance; Data Privacy; or other appropriate teams through to resolution.

Own all-employee Social Media Policy training and policies - including standard operating procedures and training resources.

Lead Social Media Center of Excellence as an advisor for global business units to research, demonstrate, and share social best practices for marketing, recruitment, crisis management, and social selling

Review business proposals and approve new IQVIA Social Media Channel requests

Continuously improve social media tactics by capturing and analyzing social data to obtain key metrics, insights and best practices, and then act on the information.

Manage the optimization of social media management tool, including publishing, reporting, advertising, vendor management, listening, and day-to-day upkeep and maintenance.

Continuously improve social media activity by capturing and analyzing the appropriate trends, social data/metrics, insights and best practices, and then acting on the information.

Plan and delivery of community management strategies through social media. Respond to comments, messages, and queries in a timely manner.

Lead transition for all social accounts for mergers & acquisitions

Qualifications

  • 7 years of experience in Web content management, corporate communication and/or marketing Req

  • Effective time management skills and ability to manage competing priorities

  • Strong communication, planning and organizational skills

  • Ability to handle confidential information appropriately

  • Knowledge of content management and rich media technologies

  • Knowledge of and sensitivity to a variety of cultures

Responsibilities include managing project teams, communications, risk, scope, schedule, cost, quality, and stakeholders effectively ensuring that variance from plan is proactively and effectively mitigated and client expectations are met. The Project Manager is expected to have working knowledge of drug development and clinical trial execution. The Project Manager also compiles and drives documentation for the project, ensuring the accuracy and quality of regulatory data. Essential Job Duties: * Serve as key client contact for assigned project responsibilities, establishing working relationships with client project teams which result in client satisfaction, operational excellence, and thereby increase potential for repeat business. * For areas of project responsibility, lead core project team(s) and facilitate team's ability to lead extended project team(s), ensuring effective cross-functional teamwork among project team members including both internal and external stakeholders. Depending on size and scope of project(s), this job duty may be performed in collaboration with a Senior Project Manager and/or Project Director. * Serve as escalation point for project issues, within area of project responsibility, to internal and external stakeholders, as appropriate. * Proactively identify and resolve conflicts as needed. * Monitor project scope, schedule and costs to ensure all remain on track with the contract and with financial performance targets. Initiate and implement appropriate actions to proactively manage the change control process both internally and externally. * Understand the project delivery strategy, costing assumptions and resulting budget for assigned project(s). * Proactively lead both quality control and risk assurance activities to ensure project deliverables are met according to regulatory, Covance and client requirements. * Create and manage variance to required project plans. Education/Qualifications: Education Required: * University/college degree (life science preferred) or certification in a related allied health profession (i.e. nursing, medical or laboratory technology) from an appropriately accredited institution.
