About the Role
We're on the lookout for a Social Media Manager who can craft compelling content, foster meaningful interactions, and drive engagement across all major platforms. You'll be the architect of our social media strategy, ensuring that every post reflects our brand's personality and resonates with our audience, and will have significant input into broader brand strategy and influencer strategy. This role reports directly to the CGO.
Note: this is a contract position of 20hrs per week with the intention of conversion to full-time.
What you'll do
Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy to increase brand awareness, engagement, and conversion
Create and curate engaging content for various social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter/X, and LinkedIn
Manage all social media channels, including scheduling posts, monitoring comments and messages, and responding to inquiries in a timely manner
Analyze social media data and metrics to track performance, identify trends, and optimize content strategy
Collaborate with internal teams to align social media efforts with overall marketing initiatives, product launches, and campaigns
Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices, and integrate them into our strategy as appropriate
Build and maintain relationships with influencers, partners, and other relevant stakeholders to amplify our brand reach
Required
In-depth knowledge of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and creativity
Photo and video production experience, particularly for social platforms
Strong familiarity with graphic design and video editing software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, etc.)
Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to inform decision-making
Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Bonus Points
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
Experience building brand ambassador/influencer programs end-to-end
Strong personal following on social media, demonstrating ability to appeal to urban millennials
