Blackhawk Network is looking for an experienced Social Media Manager to oversee the company's key social media accounts for its US B2B brands. Reporting to the Corporate Communications lead, and working closely with Blackhawk's corporate marketing team and agency partners, the Social Media Manager will be responsible for driving the development and execution of Blackhawk's social media strategy, and supporting growth and engagement across Blackhawk's social media accounts.
The ideal candidate will be able to create fresh and compelling posts, professional-looking graphics and original video content, and communicate on behalf of Blackhawk's brands in creative, engaging and on-brand way. The ideal candidate for this role thrives in fast-paced, entrepreneurial and cross-functional environments. Excellent time management skills are a must, along with the ability to effectively prioritize multiple deliverables and aggressive deadlines.

Design and implement social media strategy to align with marketing and organizational goals
Develop brand personality for each of Blackhawk's key social media channels
Set specific objectives, analyze key social media metrics and report on ROI
Generate, edit, publish and share engaging content daily (e.g. original text, photos, videos and news)
Lead internal brand ambassador program to encourage Blackhawk's employee audience to engage with company social media content
Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure brand consistency. This may also include working with business units outside of corporate marketing as well as agency partners to amplify lead gen, sales enablement and communications campaigns on social media
Monitor customer reviews, communicate with followers, and respond to inbound customer queries in a timely and professional manner
Oversee social media accounts' design and adherence to best practices (e.g. creative and properly-sized Facebook timeline cover, profile pictures, blog layout, social images)
Suggest and implement new features and campaigns to develop brand awareness, like promotions and contests
Stay up-to-date with technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications and implement when appropriate
Oversee and maintain the organization's social media policy, and ensure internal compliance as needed
Support the Corporate Communications lead in developing and gathering content for Blackhawk's internal employee newsletter
Provide the Corporate Communications lead with support on public relations and communications projects as needed
35 years relevant work experience, with prior experience specifically in a Social Media Manager role required
Experience in utilizing Sprout Social
Excellent copywriting skills
Ability to develop basic creative content (text, image and video)
Knowledge of SEO, keyword research, and Google Analytics, Salesforce, Marketo and other methods of measuring ROI
Familiarity with web design
Excellent communication and multi-tasking skills
Excellent time management skills and comfortable balancing internal meetings with approaching deadlines
Able to explain complex social media data in an understandable way and communicate ROI for business reporting
Able to independently identify social media content from multiple stakeholders and sources and develop and manage a multi-brand social media calendar
Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment, with little supervision
Comfortable working as part of a team spread across multiple geographic locations/time zones
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Knowledge of Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn advertising platforms are required
BS in Marketing or relevant field
