As the Social media intern, you will learn how Digital communications organization for a billion-dollar enterprise software company is structured, functions, and executes. You will be exposed to the Dassault Systemes' role across a broad range of industries e.g., Aerospace & Defense, Transportation & Mobility, Life Sciences, etc. You will help create social content for Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook. You will work closely with the Sr. Manager of supporting events with the creation of "live" content. You'll learn how to monitor and schedule content and review results using industry standard tools and will create custom graphics to support social media posts using Photoshop and other graphic tools.
This is a part-time 20+ hours per week, paid internship spanning from September through December 2019 and is based at Dassault Systmes North American Headquarters at 175 Wyman Street, Waltham, Massachusetts. Flexible hours are available due to semester requirements.

What will your role be?
As the social media intern you will assist in executing social programs for Dassault Systmes North America while working closely with a Senior Manager of Communications in North America to create "live" content.
You'll be involved in creating social media content for distribution across corporate social media channels, and monitoring/engaging on those social contents.
You'll learn how to monitor and schedule content and review results using industry standard tools.
You will also learn to create custom graphics to support social media posts using Photoshop and other graphic tools
The Challenges ahead:
Interacting with internal stakeholders, including salespeople, product managers and marketing, to identify content for use in social media and to create engaging posts.
Supporting marketing events including social media - through monitoring and helping to create content.
Participating in various projects, including key brand & Industry events; PR/Communications activity reports and media research.
Your key success factors
Actively enrolled in a Bachelor or Master program majoring in Marketing, Business, Communication, English, Journalism, or similar area of study for the duration of the internship
Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
Work onsite at the Waltham, MA office location; no remote or offsite permitted
Experience with social media including use of Twitter
Experience with social media monitoring a plus
Experience with Photoshop or other graphic tools
Comfortable in a fast paced, quickly changing Marketing and communications environment
Ability to collaborate effectively with the team and able to set and meet deadlines by focusing and prioritizing tasks in our changing PR environment
Well-developed oral and written communication skills in English
