Social Media Coordinator
This position is highly engaged with the membership via social channels, apps, and public-facing domains. This person brings the fun to every interaction, while growing engagement rates and following.
Main Duties
Social Media Management
Develop, organize and plan posting schedules to ensure all department needs are met
Monitor and respond to comments and direct messages daily including all social media channels, SWACU app reviews, and Google MyBusiness reviews and messages
Work closely with departments when member feedback is given
Avid TikTok, X, YouTube, LinkedIn, and Instagram user
Responsible for staying up to date on trends in order to maximize engagement
Familiar with Hootsuite or similar social scheduling websites
Identify engagement analytics and reporting
Utilize Viva Engage for internal engagement and culture development
Maintain a posting calendar
Cultivate engagement with our followers and social media users
Grow our online brand through a multi-platform campaign
Paid Advertising
Knowledgeable with paid advertising, SEO, channel optimizations, A/B testing, and gaming rules
Familiar with LinkedIn B2B Advertising and developing campaigns to reach local businesses to become Select Employee Groups (SEGs)
Minimum qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business Management, Journalism, or Advertising/Public Relations and 2 years experience in social media marketing required
Strong portfolio and engagement analytics
Demonstrated abilities with Adobe products, HTML, CRM, Excel, and other Microsoft products
Demonstrated working knowledge of social analytics required
Adept at understanding ever-changing digital trends and new technologies
Familiarity with online banking trends and applications in the financial space is a plus
Strong communication skills including written, verbal, and listening
Must be able to engage in problem-solving, and help identify and solve potential issues
Ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize
Effective time management
Strong attention to detail
Portfolio required

8:00-5:00 pm M-F. This is an in-office position
