Social Media Content Creator (Part-Time, Freelance)

Position Summary

Murray's Cheese is looking for a local-to-NYC freelance content creator to create engaging, value-driven, and trending video content for our social accounts including Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok. This role will support our Social Media and Content Manager.

Responsibilities

• Support creation of social media content across platforms and accounts, including Instagram, Facebook and TikTok.

• Film and edit content in alignment with monthly themes, Murray's various businesses, and relevant social media trends/trending audio.

• Have a pulse on the latest social media trends and trending audio.

• Meet with Social Media and Content Manager twice a month to review and approve content and discuss future ideas and trends.

Qualifications

• Must be local to NYC and be able to create content from our three shops, restaurants, and photo studio.

• 2+ years' experience in social media/content creation, with an emphasis on short-form video content. Experience in the food & beverage industry preferred.

• Experience and knowledge of TikTok, including filming, editing, TikTok features, and trends/trending audio.

• Creative, innovative personality who is passionate about digital storytelling and community building.
