Education: Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, New Media, Public Relations or Journalism.
5-7 years of experience in social media and digital marketing
Ability to serve as in-house advocate for social media and content marketing
Thorough understanding of social networks and tools
Keen understanding of how social media fits into larger digital marketing funnel
Positive attitude and heart to serve customers via social channels
Eye for detail and ability to quickly learn brand guidelines
Comfort trying new tactics and pushing boundaries when necessary
Ability to multitask and work well in a team environment
Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills

Build and execute social media strategies designed to engage consumers, drive traffic, obtain leads and convert
Support Director of Content and Social by serving as partner in content ideation
Edit daily content to ensure it fits within parameters and purposes of social strategies
Expand community and/or influencer outreach efforts
Design and manage paid social efforts
Manage efforts in building online reviews and reputation
Analyze key performance metrics and tweak strategy as needed
Monitor trends in social media tools, applications, channels, design and strategy.
Design user-generated content strategy
Edit and optimize editorial calendars and syndication schedules
Continuously improve strategy by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices, and then acting on the information
Collaborate with other departments to launch campaigns, monitor channels and execute as needed
Ensures safe care to patients, staff and visitors; adheres to all Memorial Hermann policies, procedures, and standards within budgetary specifications including time management, supply management, productivity and quality of service.
Promotes individual professional growth and development by meeting requirements for mandatory/continuing education and skills competency; supports department-based goals which contributed to the success of the organization; serves as preceptor, mentor and resource to less experienced staff.
