Compass is seeking a Full-Time summer intern to support our Social and Content team, assuring the highest quality and creativity for day-to-day content creation. As an intern within our Marketing team, you will help produce original content for social media, digital, and print platforms as well as track its performance, all with a mindset of showcasing our agents, their listings, and the Compass brand.This paid position is ideal for a undergraduate rising senior student and will require 40 hours per week in-office.At Compass You Will:

  • Collaborate with a team of 40+ producers, art directors, marketing associates, and editors in the development and execution of marketing campaigns for print, video, and social platforms

  • Assist with research, interview transcription, writing, and possibly some editing

  • Track weekly social media growth and engagement across platforms and competitive landscape

  • Write, analyze, and organize data for quarterly, comprehensive social media reports

  • Conduct research on social media partnerships for initiatives such as Instagram takeovers

  • Support the marketing department by relaying trends in design, marketing, social media, and real estate

  • Assist with the creation of two issues of our lifestyle magazine, Compass Quarterly, helping to research, report, and write original content

  • Contribute content including buyer and seller stories to our digital publications

  • Assist with first-pass editing projects related to expansion and agent recruitment

  • Adapt collateral into usable, consumer-facing content (e.g. rework a standard, print buyer's guide into a click-y, sharable list-icle on Medium.com)

What We're Looking For:

  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn

  • Creative with an eye for detail and design

  • Knowledge of Adobe Suite preferred

  • Excellent writing and proofreading skills

  • Organized, efficient, and collaborative self-starter

  • Experience with real estate, technology, lifestyle and/or luxury brands or media preferred

  • Must be located in Greater New York City area

  • Pursuing degree in journalism, marketing, design, English, or communications

What we're looking for: Responsible for creating new content franchises for non-linear platforms across the footprint. Oversees the execution of content strategies and content distribution across multiple platforms. The Dir, Multi-Platform Content will play a pivotal role in launching multiple series. Manages high performing teams by leading, developing, training and providing effective coaching to attract and foster talent. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience. * Establish data-driven approach to inform and build overall multi-platform content strategy. * Leverage strong cross-functional relationships with internal and external stakeholders to establish sound processes. * Create and oversee the execution of content strategies that tell a consistent and compelling story by improving brand awareness and growth objectives across key audiences. * Shape content with competitive and industry analysis and measurement frameworks; set and analyze metrics (KPI's) to measure success of initiatives and adjust response to results. * Navigate matrixed organizational structures, negotiate buy-in across diverse groups of stakeholders and diplomatically challenge the status quo while building strong collaborative relationships. * Manage and lead a team of shooters, producers, and/or editors and train the team on best in class content capturing and production techniques. * Work closely with reporters to bring stories to live across multiple platforms. Help guide their activities and direct the overall process so that the deadlines are met. * Ensure that shoots and logistics are planned in advance and that all key stakeholders are briefed on this role. * Drive innovation and experimentation across platforms. * Perform other duties as assigned.
