Boutique firm with clients in hospitality, consumer, and commercial real estate brands in Philadelphia is seeking a full-time social media account executive. If you are motivated, enthusiastic, creative, new media-minded and have an eye for detail, we would love to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

  • Create and manage content and engagement of agency accounts (average 4-7)
  • Develop and implement social media and influencer marketing campaigns
  • Plan posting schedules, considering web traffic and customer engagement metrics
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in all social platforms and how those changes pertain to the client
  • Create engaging text, image and video content and post on behalf of clients and agency
  • Take photographs for social media platforms and/or coordinate with photographers/clients
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with local, regional and online media and influencers
  • Share proactive, creative recommendations with agency leadership and client including, but not limited to, social media engagement strategies, new pitch angles and content ideas, and target partnerships or timely occurrences
  • Plan and execute media and influencer specific events
  • Suggest new ways to attract prospective customers (promos, competitions, call to actions) as they pertain to social platforms
  • Support new client intake meetings
  • Research client competitors, industries, trends, influencers, and media targets consistently to identify opportunities
  • Create time lines, coordinate tasks, compile monthly reports inclusive of web traffic and analytics
  • Develop and implement social media advertising campaigns when appropriate

Requirements



Requirements:
  • Proven work experience as a social media coordinator. Preferably in an agency environment
  • Clear understanding of client budgets, agency deadlines and importance of meeting both regularly
  • Ability to counsel clients on social strategies (ensure they meet asset and project deadlines; proactively ask questions to ensure they have what they need)
  • Knowledge on how to plan and execute all aspects of influencer-specific events
  • Familiarity with online marketing strategies
  • Capacity to supervise junior account team members and update senior staff
  • Strong writing, verbal, proofreading and editing skills
  • Proficiency in using and discussing social media tools including Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest, Instagram, LinkedIn, OfferPop, HootSuite, and Sprout Social
  • Knowledge of Cision, Meltwater, Muckrack a plus
  • BS degree in marketing, communications or new media
  • Must reside in Center City
