We are looking for an experienced, highly motivated, Social Media Manager to lead the launch of social media channels for Amazon Advertising worldwide. The ideal candidate is passionate about social media with proven experience of using social media to increase brand recognition, and engagement for a worldwide B2B audience.
The Sr. Social Media Manager will be responsible for the establishing the operations of the program, building upon a keen understanding of how to build successful social media presence from the ground up and putting into place the framework to scale. This person will also work internally in a cross-functional manner, partnering with teams across Amazon Advertising to identify the content our audience needs and turning it into successful social posts.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for building the social following through organic and community strategies. Lastly, the Sr. Social Media Manager will own testing and measurement, optimizing for what drives engagement and reporting back the impact of social media on the business growth.
Primary responsibilities include:
Partnering with internal stakeholders on a global scale, help generate compelling content for the social channels (LinkedIn, Facebook and YouTube).
Define, execute, track and report well-structured campaigns and test frameworks to drive meaningful insights
Manage the day-to-day operations and maintenance of social channels.
Establish the KPIs for the social channels and track performance. Report on these weekly.
Prioritize social media post requests in accordance with team guidelines.
Working with channel marketing managers to develop strategies to grow follower base to achieve team goals.
Work directly with publishers to understand their ad platforms to define social campaigns
Communicate regularly with internal stakeholders and teams to develop and apply learnings over time
