Position: Social Emotional Learning Specialist - Title IV-A
190 Day Position

This position is funded through Title IV-A on a year-to-year basis and will be staffed subject to funding availability. There is no guarantee of continued employment for school year 2019-2020.

Salary: 190 Teacher Salary Scale The salary will be pro-rated for the remainder of the 2018-2019 school year.

Qualifications:

  • Hold or be eligible for a minimum of a Georgia Educator Certificate.

  • Minimum of three years of successful experience working in a public school setting.

  • Ability to work well with students, parents, and peers.

  • High integrity, excellent character, and good professional reputation.

  • Abide by the Georgia Professional Standards Code of Ethics for Educators.

  • Ability to be regularly, predictably, and reliably at work.

  • Ability to perform tasks involving prolonged periods of standing, walking, and sitting.

  • Ability to perform routine physical activities such as bending and lifting/pushing/pulling up to 50 pounds.

  • Vision, hearing, written, and verbal communications are essential factors in performing required tasks.

Qualifications: * Must hold or be eligible to hold a valid Georgia Professional Standards Paraprofessional Certificate. * Demonstrated skill in relationship building. * Ability to conduct professional learning opportunities for adults, preferred. * Ability to work well with staff, parents, students, and the community. * High integrity, excellent character, and good professional reputation. * Abide by the Georgia Professional Standards Code of Ethics for Educators. * Ability to be regularly, predictably, and reliably at work. * Ability to perform tasks involving prolonged periods of standing, walking, and sitting. * Ability to perform routine physical activities such as bending and lifting/pushing/pulling up to 50 pounds.
